I love telling stories. I got started with a journalism degree, with an advertising minor, from Arizona State University. For years, I wrote for consumer publications. Now I use my journalism skills to tell brands’ stories and to help them enhance their customer relationships through service pieces, customer profiles and more. I work directly with brands and also through content-marketing agencies.

Editing: I edit health newsletters for Los Angeles-based HealthMedia Concepts, which produces publications for doctors’ offices and for companies such as McKesson and AmerisourceBergen (Good Neighbor Pharmacy).

Social Media: For 2.5 years, I was the social-media reporter for Consumer Reports, working closely with CR’s editors, interacting with readers and managing the @CReporter Twitter account. My personal Twitter account, @kathysena, has more than 6,400 followers.
